We classify your information according to importance and sensitivity and ensure the required level of security for your personal information. Try not to disclose your password to anyone (including those claiming to be Xiaomi).

 

4.3 Retention Policy

We will stop retaining and delete or anonymize personal information after the purpose of collection has been achieved, or after we confirm your deletion request, or after we terminate the operation of the corresponding service. This Privacy Policy requires that your request meets applicable laws and regulations and the following conditions:

If you want to cancel your Mi Account, please note that you will not be able to use all of Xiaomi's products and services after cancellation. In some cases, cancellation may be blocked or delayed.

 

6 How Your Personal Information is Transferred Globally

 

Xiaomi processes and backs up personal information through global operations and control infrastructure. Currently, Xiaomi has data centers in the United States, Germany and Singapore. For the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, your information may be transferred to these data centers in accordance with applicable laws.
We may also transfer your personal information to third-party service providers and business partners, so your data may also be transferred to other countries or regions. The jurisdictions in which these global facilities are located may or may not protect personal information to the same standards as your jurisdiction.
